Google have just slashed the price for the Nexus 4 to £159 (USD$199) for the 8GB version and £199 (USD$249) for the 16GB version. People in the US will benefit from a $100 price cut with people in the UK benefiting from a £80 price reduction for both the 8GB and 16GB models.
This is a huge saving for people looking to get hold of one of the best smartphones on the market and the offer has been expanded to Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, Korea, US, UK and now France.

When I bought my Nexus 4 back in December 2012 it was already at a great price of £279 for the 16GB model, so these latest prices should prove more than enticing for anyone wanting to pick up what many consider to be the best unlocked smartphone you can get for this price. Whether this means that we may be seeing the arrival of the Nexus 5 or whatever the next model will be in the next couple of months isn’t clear, although there are plenty of rumours flying around.
