Star Wars The Force Awakens

Needless to say, the below will contain spoilers for those who have not yet seen the trailer.

Today is a great day for Star Wars fans as Disney have just released the first official teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens. The Force Awakens is set approximately 30 years after the fall of  The Empire and the death of Darth Vader, and follows three new leads as well as well-known characters from the previous films. The film is set for release in December 2015 and is directed by J.J. Abrams. Below, you can check out the new teaser trailer in all it’s 1080p goodness.

Below are 16 of the best images that I could get from image sequencing the teaser trailer, giving you a better look at some of the characters in the new Star Wars film. The images are 1920 x 816 and look pretty good as Xbox One backgrounds as well.

Stranded Stormtrooper, or Rebel wearing a Stormtroopers armour, played by John Boyega (characters names as yet unknown, but may be the possible love interest of Daisy Ridley’s character )
