Today the 87th Academy Awards, aka The 2015 Oscars, are set to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles at 5:30 p.m. PST. The awards will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris this year, who takes over from last years presenter, Ellen DeGeneres. There are some fantastic films and actors nominated in this years awards, but if you don’t know who has been nominated and want to see then head over to the official site to see the full list.
So how do I go about watching the Oscars live tonight?
Well, if you live in the US then you can simply head over to ABC Go and watch the live stream on their site from your PC. If you are on a mobile device, then you can use ABC’s mobile apps to access the live stream. Apps are available for:
- iOS and Apple TV
- Windows devices (mobile)
However, this does require that you have a cable or satellite subscription for either one of the companies below:
- Cox Communications
- Charter Communications
- Verizon FiOS
- AT&T U-verse
If you live in the UK, then SKY has been granted the exclusive rights to broadcast the event and will be showing it exclusively on Sky Movies Oscars. SKY will also be letting users catch up on all the gossip and glamour from the red carpet with live coverage on Sky Living from 11:30PM GMT tonight.
For users in Canada, you can watch the Oscars live via CTV Go which will begin its broadcast from ET or 3:30 pm PT or 6:30 pm depending in which time zone you live in.
