This is just a quick little help guide to show you how to go about fixing an issue with Imagus where it will show a blank image in Facebook when you hover your mouse over the image. Please note that this is also a fix that should also work if you are noticing images on other supported sites showing blank images when you hover over them.
Here is what I mean:
In the image above you can see that I am hovering my mouse over an image of Mastercard, but the returned view is showing up as a blank image. To fix this, go to where your Extensions are stored for your browser, find Imagus, select Options and update Sieve. I have tested this in both the latest versions of Imagus in both Firefox and Chrome. (also latest builds)
In Chrome, hit the 3 bars in the top right hand corner of the bowser window, select More Tools>Extensions.
For Firefox hit the 3 bars in the top right hand corner of the bowser window, select Add-ons>Extensions.
Once you have found the Extensions area for your browser, select Options, next to Imagus.
This will then open the Options window for Imagus. In here, select the Sieve tab and then the Update Sieve icon. This will then update the filters used by Imagus. Now hit Save.
You will be shown a small window letting you know that new rules are now in place and would you like to continue. Just click on OK.
Now close your browser and restart it. Open the Facebook page (or whatever site was affected) and test to see that it has been fixed, which hopefully it should be.
